The price transparency index: every company we have priced, scored on its own headline
Every other board here ranks on what something costs. This one ranks on whether the price you were shown is the price you pay. Each company is entered on the widest gap anywhere in its own catalog — not its best-behaved product — because a seller with one honest price and one two-hundred-dollar step-up has not answered the question. Two companies score zero. One advertises a figure it charges nearly four times over.

What gets on this board
Every company with a published review here, entered once, on the priced row where the distance between its advertised figure and its no-commitment price is widest. Every priced row is eligible whatever it sells — a step-up on a skincare cream counts the same as one on a GLP-1, because the question is about the pricing page, not the drug.
What decides the order
Companies we have an affiliate relationship with are listed first, and we may earn a commission if you start with one. Within that group and within the rest, the order is the measured distance between the price a company advertises and the price it charges with no commitment, as a share of the advertised figure — smallest gap first, a perfect match at the top. The two figures are read off the company's own page and nothing else is read into them.

Ranked by the distance between the advert and the bill
The advertised column is what the company leads with. The walk-away column is what one cycle costs if you stop after it. The year column is the second of those multiplied by the number of times a year it is genuinely billed — which is thirteen, not twelve, for anyone on a four-week cycle. The order here is decided by the distance between the first two columns, printed as a share of the advertised figure under the walk-away price. The year column is shown but is not what sorts this page.

- What one cycle costs at the standing, no-commitment rate — what you pay if you stop after it. Not a prepay tier and not a first-month promotion.
- Year at this price
- The walk-away price multiplied by the number of times it is actually billed in a year: 12 on a calendar-month cycle, 13 on a four-week cycle.
- Advertised price
- The figure the company leads with on its own pricing page. It is shown here beside the price you pay rather than instead of it.

Whether you qualify
Coverage varies by state, and several of these companies serve fewer states than they appear to. Each review names the exclusions its company actually discloses.
Whether the care is good
This board ranks on cost, not on care. We have not assessed anyone's clinical care, and there is no quality score anywhere on this site.
What your insurer pays
Every figure here is a cash price. What a covered drug costs you depends on your own plan's formulary and deductible, and no public source publishes a per-drug copay.
Whether the price will hold
Plans restructure without notice. Every row carries the date it was read so you can see how old the number is before you rely on it.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a company scored on its worst price rather than its average?
Because an average is something a seller can move by publishing more products. Add three honestly-priced items to a catalog with one large step-up and the mean improves while the step-up is untouched — the reader who walks into that one product is no better off. The widest gap is the thing you can actually be caught by, so it is the thing the board reads. Every one of a company's other prices is on its review, gaps and all.
Why a percentage rather than the dollar amount?
Because fifty dollars on a $99 headline and fifty dollars on a $449 headline are not the same act of advertising, and ranking on dollars would push the cheap sellers to the bottom for being cheap. The denominator is the advertised figure because that is the number the company chose to put in front of you. Both figures are printed in the row, so you can read either.
Does a low score mean a company is cheap?
No, and it is worth saying plainly. This board measures one distance and nothing else. DirectMeds scores zero at $297 a month; a company advertising $99 and charging $190 scores badly while still being cheaper. Transparency and price are different questions and this site answers them on different boards — the cost boards are one click away.
Does an FDA warning letter count against a company here?
No. Nothing on this site ranks on the presence or absence of a warning letter. A letter is a public regulatory communication that discloses something a reader should know; it is not a finding of illegal activity and it is not a pricing fact. Where a company holds one, its review on this site discloses that letter and carries two links out to it: FDA's own copy on fda.gov, and our transcript of it. The sort does not read that field at all.
