Mochi Health Review: Four Membership Prices, None of Them the Drug

Two charges. The membership is $79 a month if you pay monthly, with a $39 first month for new subscribers. The medication is a separate subscription: compounded semaglutide from $99 a month, compounded tirzepatide from $199. So the real bill is $138 then $178 on semaglutide, or $238 then $278 on tirzepatide. Prepaying the membership pulls the first line down — $69/mo on 3 months, $59 on 6, $49 on 12 — but not the second, and the medication price is where most of the money is on tirzepatide.

Only as an average. The $49/mo figure is the 12-month plan, which Mochi's own card prices at $588 for the term with $548 due today. Nothing is billed at $49. And $588 buys membership alone — a year of compounded semaglutide on top is another $1,188 at the starting price, so the annual plan's true all-in is about $1,776 before any dose increase. Mochi doesn’t refund partially used subscription periods, so the $548 is spent the moment it clears.

Month-to-month on compounded semaglutide: $138 for month one plus eleven months at $178, or $2,096. On tirzepatide: $238 plus eleven at $278, or $3,296. Both assume the starting dose holds all year, which is the assumption Mochi's "Starting at" wording invites and doesn’t support. Add a thirteenth fill if you want 365 days of drug rather than 336 — twelve monthly charges buy twelve 28-day supplies.

Because both are live at once. The pricing module on joinmochi.com prices the prepay plans at $207 for 3 months, $354 for 6 and $588 for 12. The patient app's own JavaScript carries a second ladder — "$199 every 3 months", "$399 every 6 months", "$799 per year" — inside the notice a member sees if their Wellness Plus insurance eligibility lapses and they’re moved onto the standard membership. Both were read on August 7, 2026. This review is priced on the public website figures. If a quote you’re shown doesn’t match this page, that second ladder is a likely reason, and it’s worth asking which one your account is on.

Because Mochi is a marketplace, not a pharmacy. Its own pharmacy-partner page invites pharmacies to "add medications to your Formulary" and says "patients and providers on our platform can discover and choose your pharmacy." The price you pay is the price the pharmacy that fills your script charges for that dose, which is why every figure is prefixed "Starting at" and why the terms reserve the right to change a Medication Subscription price "at any time for any reason." It’s honest about the mechanism and unhelpful about the number.

Yes, on its own account. Mochi's FAQ says the program is "completely virtual, meaning you can access our services anywhere in the United States," and no excluded-state list appears anywhere on the site or in its terms. One carve-out does exist, and it’s a pricing one rather than a service one: the $39 first-month promotion is "not available in all states," which means some new members start at $79 in month one.

You can cancel the membership and the medication subscription separately, and Mochi's pricing card says "cancel anytime." Almost nothing is refunded. Its refund policy states that "all prescription sales are final" because medication can’t be reused or resold, and its terms say it doesn’t refund partially used subscription periods, with case-by-case exceptions capped at one month's fee. That makes the 12-month plan a real commitment: $548 leaves your account on day one and doesn’t come back if you stop in March.
