Nova review: $198 a month with the membership already inside it

Nova does the membership the right way round. "Starting at $198/mo — includes medication, shipping & your $99/mo Nova Care membership" puts the fee inside the advertised number instead of underneath it, which makes Nova one of very few companies here whose headline is the whole bill. The catch is a different one: every figure is a floor, and Nova says outright that the final cost depends on the dose you are prescribed. It also does not serve California.

The money verdict

I would buy here if I were early in a titration and out of California. $198 all-in is competitive once you notice what it contains — the membership, the shipping and the drug in one figure, which is the opposite of how this market usually quotes. Nova also names its medical director and its nurse practitioner with credentials, publishes its exclusion honestly, and states the compounding class. What it will not tell you is what a maintenance dose costs. Every price is a floor that moves with the prescription, and no ladder above it exists anywhere on the site.

  • You want one figure that already contains the membership and the shipping
  • You want a daily tablet rather than a weekly injection, at the cheapest route here
  • You want to know who the medical director is, by name and credential

Will my price go up as my dose does?

Nova says it will, without saying by how much: "Final cost depends on the dose your provider prescribes." That makes every figure here a floor. Several companies we track promise a flat rate at every dose in writing, and this is not one of them, so budget above the starting number.

Does Nova serve California?
