TrimRx Review: The $179 GLP-1 Costs $299 From Month Two

$299 a month for its GLP-1 programme and $399 for its GLP-1/GIP programme, once you are past the first month. Those are TrimRx's own figures, from its Terms and Conditions: "Follow-Up Consultation - GLP-1: Priced at $299" and "Follow-Up Consultation - GLP-1 + GIP: Priced at $399." The first month is cheaper — the same document puts it at $199 and $349 — and the $179 and $259 on the homepage are cheaper still, but the contract describes those as what the products were "originally priced at". Whichever way you read it, the number on the front page is not the number you pay in month two.

Because the homepage has not caught up with the contract. TrimRx's Terms carry the phrasing in full: "Initial Consultation - GLP-1: Originally priced at $179, currently offered at $199 for the first month." The dual agonist reads the same way — "Originally priced at $259, currently offered at $349 for the first month." That is a $20 gap on one product and a $90 gap on the other, in the direction that costs the reader money. It is the ordinary way a price rise happens on a site with several surfaces, and it is why the figure filed here comes from the contract rather than the hero panel.

For the GLP-1 programme, $199 for the first month and eleven at $299 is $3,488. For the GLP-1/GIP programme, $349 plus eleven at $399 is $4,738. Judged against the headline, the year a reader would have budgeted from "Starting at $179" is $2,148 — so the real first year is $1,340 more than the front page implies on one product and $1,630 more on the other. There is no prepay tier that brings either down: TrimRx sells one month at a time and nothing else.

No, and this is where TrimRx does better than much of the category. Each package in its schedule "includes the Telehealth consultation, prescription, GLP-1 medication, shipping, and ongoing medical support if needed", and the site footer says the same from the other direction: "Medication costs are included in the fees collected by TrimRx and TrimRx pays the pharmacies." There is no membership, no separate consultation charge, no shipping line and no minimum term. What you are quoted is what leaves your account each month.

TrimRx will not say for its cheaper product. It sells "GLP-1" and "GLP-1 + GIP" on every page, and the only place any molecule is named is the Terms, where the dual agonist package is described as including "compounded Tirzepatide medication". The word semaglutide appears on the site twice, both times inside customer testimonials, and once more in an intake question asking whether you have already taken it. That is why the price row above is labelled for what is sold rather than for what it is probably compounded from — and it is a fair question to put to the provider before your card is charged.

TrimRx says only that it is "prepared and shipped by an independent, state-licensed compounding pharmacy", and never names one. Two of the other sellers we have reviewed publish their pharmacies with street addresses; TrimRx publishes none. Its safety page is otherwise candid — it states that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, that the agency does not verify their safety, effectiveness or quality, and that "you should not take a compounded drug if an FDA-approved drug is appropriate". It also makes no claim of equivalence to any branded product, which is the correct thing to say and one many competitors do not.

TrimRx does not say, and we could not find out without handing over a date of birth. Nothing in its published price schedule ties cost to dose — the four packages are named by programme, not by milligram — and unlike most sellers in this category it also never makes the reassuring claim, so there is no "same price at every dose" line to hold it to. The screen that would settle it sits behind the identity gate at the end of the questionnaire. Ask before you pay: on a drug you are expected to titrate upward for months, a $100 step at 1 mg turns a $299 quote into something else entirely.

Rarely, and only if you move quickly. TrimRx refunds in exactly two circumstances: a provider deciding you are not medically eligible, or a billing error on its side. Everything else is out — "Once the initial medical intake has been submitted, the order is considered processed and is non-refundable", and cancelling after a charge "will prevent future charges, but previously processed charges are non-refundable". Any eligible request must be in writing, by email, within 28 days of payment; the Terms say requests made later or through other channels "will not be honored". The one genuinely pro-patient clause is in the shipping policy: if nothing has shipped within 14 days of your order, you may ask for a refund regardless of where your medical review has got to.

Read the statistics with care. The homepage claims a 30% reduction in body fat, a six-inch average waist reduction, that 8 in 10 see rapid results and that 98% of users keep the weight off, none with a source; the intake adds that "on average, TrimRx patients lose over 20% of their body weight" and that TrimRx "is proud to be ranked #1" without saying by whom. TrimRx's own footer quietly withdraws them: "User results reflect recent internal statistics from paid orders" and "Figures expressed on this website do not represent clinical outcomes or individual results." The rating badge is stranger still — it reads "4.7 / 5 RATING Score By" and then stops, so the score has no publisher attached to it at all.

No. FDA's live warning-letter index was queried on August 9, 2026 for "trimrx", for the spaced form "trim rx", and for "trim-rx". The condensed and hyphenated forms returned nothing. The spaced form returned two rows, and neither is this company: their company columns read Revive Rx LLC dba Revive Rx Pharmacy and Biomedical Research Laboratories, LLC, both matched inside letter bodies rather than by name. Filing either against TrimRx on the strength of the word "Rx" would be exactly the mistake this method exists to prevent. A query for "skinnyrx" run in the same pass returned that company's February 2026 letter, so the zeros above are evidence rather than a broken search.
