TrimRx Review: The $179 GLP-1 Costs $299 From Month Two
TrimRx's homepage says $179. Its contract says $299. So I read the contract: the $179 is a figure nobody is charged any more, and you pay $199 the first month, then $299 from month two. A $120 gap between the number that got you in and the one you live with — that’s the whole trick. The rest of TrimRx is better than most — one all-in price, no membership, no prepay block, and an intake that actually screens you.

I would buy here if I were staying on a low dose and wanted one bill with nothing bolted on — TrimRx is genuinely cleaner than most on that. I wouldn’t buy on the $179, because you will be paying $299.

Neither sentence mentions Washington, D.C., and no state question appears in the first 30 screens of the intake — it arrives with the shipping address, after the identity gate — so there’s no coverage table to check the claim against.

What's good, and what's not
Pros
- Shipping is free and tracked, and if nothing ships within 14 days you can ask for a refund regardless of where your medical review has got to.

Flaws, but not dealbreakers

- You pay before the intake, and submitting it ends your refund rights: the order is "considered processed and is non-refundable".
- Canceling means a phone call or a chat — "You can reach out via chat or call 888-896-1612 to discuss cancellation" — with no self-service route published.
- The cheaper product’s molecule is never named.
- No pharmacy is named anywhere — only "an independent, state-licensed compounding pharmacy".
- The Better Business Bureau asked TrimRx in March 2026 to substantiate or drop its "No price hikes" and "No Hidden Fees" claims.

- Its SMS privacy policy is template text from another kind of business — it mentions a "rental agreement" and "third-party reservation systems".
- The Terms misspell the drug they sell as "Tirzepetide".
- The advertised $179 and $259 are first-month prices. From month two TrimRx's own contract charges $299 and $399.
- They aren’t even the current first-month prices: the Terms call $179 and $259 the "originally priced at" figures and put today’s introductory rates at $199 and $349.
- The intake predicts you’ll lose "3.15 to 3.5 pounds per week" and dates your goal to two decimals, from height, weight and a number you typed.
- The company is named as Metafit Pharma Solutions, Inc. in the privacy notice and as MetaFit Pharma Solutions LLC in the mobile terms, on the same site.

What does TrimRx actually cost?

Why is the advertised price lower than the introductory price?
Because the homepage hasn’t caught up with the contract. The Terms read "Originally priced at $179, currently offered at $199 for the first month", and the dual agonist the same way at $259 and $349. That’s a $20 gap on one product and $90 on the other, both in the direction that costs you money.
What does a year on TrimRx come to?
$3,488 for the GLP-1 program — $199, then eleven months at $299 — and $4,738 for GLP-1/GIP. Budgeting from "Starting at $179" would have given you $2,148, so the real first year runs $1,340 to $1,630 higher. There is no prepay tier that brings it down.
Are there fees on top of that?
No, and this is where TrimRx does better than much of the category. Each package "includes the Telehealth consultation, prescription, GLP-1 medication, shipping, and ongoing medical support if needed", with no membership, no separate consultation charge and no minimum term. What you’re quoted is what leaves your account.
Which drug am I actually being sold?
TrimRx won’t say for the cheaper one. It sells "GLP-1" and "GLP-1 + GIP", and the only molecule named anywhere is tirzepatide, inside the Terms. Ask before your card is charged.
Where does the medication come from?
"An independent, state-licensed compounding pharmacy" — and TrimRx never names it, while other sellers we have reviewed publish theirs with street addresses. Its safety page is otherwise candid: compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the agency does not verify their safety, effectiveness or quality. It also claims no equivalence to any branded product — a line many competitors are happy to blur.
Does the price go up when my dose goes up?
TrimRx doesn’t say, and I couldn’t find out without handing over a date of birth. Nothing in the published schedule ties cost to dose, and unlike most sellers it never makes the reassuring claim either. Ask before you pay — on a drug you titrate upward for months, one $100 step turns a $299 quote into something else.
Can I get my money back?
Rarely, and only if you move fast. TrimRx refunds two things — a provider ruling you ineligible, or its own billing error — and the request must be emailed within 28 days or it "will not be honored". The one genuinely pro-patient clause: if nothing ships within 14 days, you can ask for your money back regardless of where your medical review has got to.
How much of the marketing should I believe?
Read the statistics with care: a 30% reduction in body fat, a six-inch waist reduction, 8 in 10 seeing rapid results, 98% keeping it off — none with a source. TrimRx’s own footer withdraws them, saying the figures "do not represent clinical outcomes or individual results". The rating badge reads "4.7 / 5 RATING Score By" and then stops, so the score has no publisher.
Has the FDA written to TrimRx?
No. I queried the live warning-letter index on August 9, 2026 for "trimrx", "trim rx" and "trim-rx"; the two rows that came back belong to other companies, matched on the word "Rx" inside letter bodies. A search for a company with a letter we already knew about returned it in the same pass, so those empty results are evidence rather than a broken search.
