Kongo review: it names its pharmacies, then prices the market wrong
Kongo does the single most useful thing a telehealth company can do and hardly any of them do: it names the pharmacies that fill its prescriptions, with street addresses and phone numbers, in its terms. That earns it real credit. Its pricing is straightforward too — $119 a month for compounded semaglutide, $109 if you prepay three months, $229 for tirzepatide, no membership fee. The problem is the table beside those numbers. Kongo tells readers "the other guys" charge $299 a month, and against the 51 compounded-semaglutide prices we have verified first-party the median is $209, with only eleven at or above $299 — and three companies here charging less than Kongo does.

What does Kongo actually cost?
Compounded semaglutide is $119 a month if you pay month to month, or $109 a month if you prepay three months. Compounded tirzepatide is $229 a month. Is it true that other providers charge $299 a month?
Not as a rule. Kongo's table sets its $119 against "THEM $299/mo" without naming anyone, so we tested it against the only source we control: the 51 compounded-semaglutide walk-away prices verified first-party on this site. The median is $209 and only eleven of the 51 are at or above $299. Companies charging $299 certainly exist — that is why the number is not invented — but it sits near the expensive end rather than in the middle, and three providers here charge less than Kongo does.
Which pharmacy fills a Kongo prescription?
Two, and it says so in writing. Section XXIX of its terms names Absolute Pharmacy (Absolute RX) at 16011 N. Nebraska Ave., Suite 103, Lutz, FL 33549, and Strive Pharmacy at 1275 E Baseline Rd, #104, Gilbert, AZ 85233, both described as LegitScript-certified, both with phone numbers. This is the most specific dispensing disclosure of any company on this site, and it is what lets a reader check the pharmacy rather than take the platform's word for it.
Why does the price change when you click the tab?
Because the card shows one term at a time. "1 month" gives $119 and "3 months" gives $109, and only the selected figure is in the page. We read both by clicking each state in a browser. It is worth saying that our first pass got this wrong: a scrape returned $109 from the card and $119 from the comparison table and looked like Kongo contradicting itself on one page, when it was one page in two states. The error was ours.
