ShedRx Review: The $159 Semaglutide Bills $199, and Only in Twos

$199 a month for compounded semaglutide and $299 for compounded tirzepatide if you’re not committing to a term. Those aren’t our figures: Shed's own Terms and Conditions call them "the then-current standard rate (currently $199 per month for Compounded Semaglutide and $299 per month for Compounded Tirzepatide)". The advertised $159 and $239 are the twelve-month rates, and the six-month rates sit between at $179 and $269. Read off tryshed.com and its published contract on August 9, 2026.

No, and this is the most important thing on the page. The product table offers a row labeled "1 Month", but §11.1 of the contract you agree to at checkout says: "All programs require a minimum commitment of two (2) full months. Early cancellation within this period does not release you from payment obligations and will not result in a refund or credit." A second clause adds that subscriptions are "only eligible for cancellation after two months or at the close of your renewal cycles, whichever is longer". So the smallest sum you can commit to Shed is two months — $398 for semaglutide, $598 for tirzepatide — and the portal won’t show you a cancel button until you have served it.

Month to month, twelve payments of $199 is $2,388 for semaglutide and twelve of $299 is $3,588 for tirzepatide. Take the twelve-month rate instead and it’s $1,908 and $2,868 — a saving of $480 and $720, which is exactly what Shed's own table claims. But read what the twelve-month plan buys: §13.2 says it delivers forty-eight weeks of medication, in twelve one-vial shipments or six two-vial shipments, each vial four weeks. A calendar year is fifty-two weeks. You’re paying twelve monthly-sized amounts for eleven and a bit months of drug.

Yes, and no product page says so. The price table inside Shed's own member portal resolves cost by compound, delivery form and dose: compounded semaglutide injection is priced at 199 where the dose field reads "starter" and 299 where it reads "standard". Compounded tirzepatide injection is 299 at starter and 399 at both "standard" and "maintenance". Shed is at least not contradicting itself — unlike most of this category it never claims "same price at every dose", a phrase that appears nowhere on its site. But a reader looking at "1 Month $199" has no way to learn from that page that titrating adds $100 a month.

The same portal table lists every compounded product twice — once tagged medication-only and once tagged VIP — and the VIP version is a flat $70 a month more on all eleven compounded rows. Nothing on the marketing site sells it, prices it, or says what it includes; the only mention anywhere on tryshed.com is a results disclaimer noting that some figures come from "VIP member data". The portal code checks for a "VIP" tag on your subscription, so it’s a live product rather than dead code. Ask what tier you’re being quoted before you agree to a term.

Real, specific, and conditional in ways worth reading before you rely on it. If you don’t lose 5% of your baseline weight or reach your recorded goal within 120 days, Shed refunds what you actually paid during that period. To qualify you must complete four commitments: attend all four monthly coaching appointments, log at least two weight entries every calendar month, complete at least 60 of 120 daily check-ins in the Pivot app, and submit every provider follow-up form by its due date. Miss one and the guarantee is void. On the other side, Shed verifies eligibility "primarily from objective system records… and not by member self-attestation alone", which cuts both ways — it also means you can’t be argued out of a valid claim.

After the two-month minimum, three routes are written into the contract: a "Cancel Subscription" link in the member portal, a cancellation link in any billing-confirmation or shipment-preview email, or an email to member success. The cost is timing. You must cancel at least 72 hours before your billing date or the next month is charged, and "all subscription fees are non-refundable once charged" — expressly including when you didn’t use the coaching or the provider visits. And once a shipment has left, "that cycle is considered used in full and is non-refundable, regardless of how much of the supply you have consumed", which on a two-vial cycle means eight weeks at a time.

Shed doesn’t commit, and the difference is $199 a year on semaglutide. Section 11.2 says "your subscription will automatically renew each month on your original billing date" — twelve payments. But the payments section says billing "may occur either every twenty-eight (28) days or on a monthly basis, depending on your specific program", and §13.1 describes post-term renewal as being "on a monthly or 28-day basis". A 28-day cycle is thirteen charges in a calendar year, not twelve. Everything Shed fulfills runs on four-week vials, which makes the 28-day reading the more plausible one — so ask, in writing, before your first renewal.

Almost certainly, and this one comes from data rather than a marketing line. The state table inside Shed's own signup portal carries 52 entries — all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico — each with a timezone attached, which is how the portal schedules provider appointments. The same portal defines a list of disqualified states and leaves it empty. Shed also publishes a state-resources page, but it covers only Alaska, New York, Texas and Utah, so it’s a support directory rather than a coverage map and should not be read as one.

Shed names three compounding pharmacies in section 38 of its Terms, with street addresses: Strive Compounding Pharmacy in Gilbert, Arizona; Promise Pharmacy in Palm Harbor, Florida; and Foothills Professional Pharmacy in Tempe, Arizona. That’s more than most sellers in this category will put in writing. FDA's live warning-letter index was queried on August 9, 2026 for Shed, ShedRx, tryshed, Shed Holdings and each of those three pharmacies, and every query returned zero records. A query for "skinnyrx" run in the same pass returned that company's February 2026 letter, which is what makes the zeros evidence rather than a broken search.
