Synergy Rx review: the $199 is a first month, and one plan charges you to commit

Compounded semaglutide is $249 a month and compounded tirzepatide is $399, read off Synergy's own checkout on August 11, 2026. The "$199" and "$349" on its product pages are first months. The oral tablets are $299 and $399 with no introductory tier, so those advertised figures are real ongoing prices. Branded products are monthly only: Ozempic $499, Wegovy $947, Mounjaro $947.

On the injections, yes. On the tablets, no — and on one plan the arithmetic is inverted. Compounded semaglutide over three months is $748, against three monthly payments of $747; Synergy's own card prints "Save $-1". The semaglutide tablet is $300 a month on both the 3- and 6-month plans against $299 monthly. The tirzepatide tablet is $400 a month on all three prepay tiers against $399 monthly, so twelve months up front costs $4,799 — twelve dollars more than simply paying each month. The only ladders that reward committing are the two injections, where twelve months brings semaglutide to $192 and tirzepatide to $292.

On the two compounded injections, yes, and Synergy shows it rather than hiding it. The checkout's monthly option reads "$249/mo · $199 first month" for semaglutide and "$399/mo · $349 first month" for tirzepatide. That’s a 25% and a 14% step-up. The oral tablets and all three branded products have no first-month tier — one price throughout.

Harder than it should be, in two distinct ways. The products page is tab-switched and opens on Longevity, so a casual look — or an automated one — returns peptide prices rather than the weight-loss ones; the GLP-1 prices sit behind a Weight Loss tab. And the standing monthly rate isn’t on the product pages at all. "Get started" leads to a medical questionnaire, and only the checkout screen after it shows "Select billing cycle" with $249 beside the advertised $199.

The checkout says so: "Cancel or change plans anytime". The Terms are silent — that document contains zero occurrences of the word "cancel" and zero of "subscription", and it’s dated January 1, 2024. For a recurring medication that’s a gap worth knowing about before the first renewal, because the promise sits on a checkout screen rather than in the agreement you’re accepting.

Synergy names four pharmacies, with phone numbers and websites, in its homepage FAQ: Belmar Pharmacy, Strive Pharmacy, Epiq Scripts and Casa Pharma Rx. It also names two prescribing clinicians, Dr Ana Lisa Carr and Dr Kelly Tenbrink, through Lion MD. That’s a real, checkable disclosure and it’s the best thing on the site. Two caveats: which of the four fills a given order isn’t disclosed, and the Terms — the natural place to look — name no pharmacy at all.

Its own two answers disagree. The homepage FAQ says telemedicine is available in all 50 states subject to each state's rules. The Terms say the service is available in "certain states" and ask you to email customer service for the list, which is published nowhere. Nothing in the signup flow refuses a state, so no exclusion is named on this page — that’s an absence of published information rather than a verified all-50 footprint.

The agreement you accept is CareGLP's. Its own words: "the terms 'we', 'us', 'our' and 'CareGLP' refer to CareGLP, owned by SynergyRx, a Delaware corporation located at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #2603, Casper, WY 82609", with disputes to be resolved in Fulton County, Georgia. A Delaware corporation at a Wyoming address litigating in Georgia, under a brand name that’s not the one on the storefront. "CareGLP" appears 68 times in that document; "SynergyRx" appears 56.

No. FDA's live warning-letter index was queried on August 11, 2026 for "synergy rx", "synergyrx" and the corporate name "careglp", each returning its full result set, and all three returned nothing. A query for "skinnyrx" in the same pass returned that company's February 2026 letter, which is what makes the zeros meaningful rather than a sign of a broken search. Separately, Belmar Pharmacy — one of the four Synergy names — received a letter in March 2023 that was closed out in October 2023. It belongs to the pharmacy, not to Synergy, and isn’t filed against this company.
